It is produced whenever Shotgun Ammunition is fired from a Shotgun. Once the Shotgun is reloaded, a Shotgun Shell Casing is deposited onto the ground that can be picked up. The Shotgun can also be unloaded in the Backpack, depositing the Shotgun Shell Casing into the player's inventory.
